The owner of 5Pointz has stated that they are finally bulldozing 5Pointz next year to make room for (go on, take a guess)….two high-rise apartment complexes.
The Daily News article highlights David Wolkoff’s plans to build a 47 and 41 story high-rise with the possibility of keeping some of the art vibe.
“There will be a continuing program of art on the pedestrian level,” he said. “We want to have some connection to the past and some connection to the future.”
