Yet another climbing facility comes to Long Island City

When it rains, it pours.

Last week we informed you that The Cliffs would be opening up an indoor climbing facility in LIC.

We’ve just gotten word that there will be yet another similar facility opening up here in LIC by Brooklyn Boulders.

Both climbing companies looked at the same former cell phone accessory warehouse to build their respective facilities.

But Brooklyn Boulders decided against the space that The Cliffs took, and is now looking into other local spots, said Lance Pinn, one of the owners. The company plans to open a facility in Queens this year.
