Time Out New York has just published the best that Long Island City has to offer. It’s a comprehensive list of places to see and visit throughout our neighborhood.

It also makes us wonder…what do you feel is the best thing about Long Island City?

    Someone needs to do recheck if these businesses are open: ethereal is closed, lounge 47 is gone, I think waterfront crabhouse is still out of commission. Sweetleaf is not cheap eats…and matted is never open.

    Matted is wonderful and open regular business hours for a shop like this.
    Crabhouse is allegeldy reopened.
    I am missing Manducatis and M Rustica, but that’s fine with me.

    The Waterfront Crabhouse has a sign saying they’ll be opening again February 12 or 13, I forget which day exactly, but soon.

    I wish Time Out had had someone do some fact checking before they published a “Best of LIC Guide.” Some of the businesses aren’t even open! Did the writer even visit LIC? What about some of the newer places like Cyclo or LIC: Living?
