Flooded cars “litter” Long Island City streets

Walking throughout Hunters Point reveals numerous cars with condensation all over their windows. A sign that the car was under many feet of water just a few days ago.

Unfortunately NY only requires liability car insurance. However owners of these vehicles may be able to apply for FEMA disaster assistance.
