Construction on Vernon Blvd. to go on until October 30th?

Most of you have experienced the nightmare construction from the gas pipe replacement on Vernon Blvd. near 47th Ave. for the last month or so. According to the Hawkeye contractor the job should be complete by the 30th of October. But after speaking to on of the workers on site, it doesn’t seem to be so.

Should we expect trick-or-treaters to have to climb over pipes on Halloween?
