Halloween in LIC!

Fans of LIC Spot have been asking about Halloween activities in Long Island City…and we’re more than happy to let you know about them!
Breadbox Cafe will be hosting their annual Howl-o-ween Paw-rade and Costume Contest on October 28th. The even starts at 3pm at Breadbox and you must register your pet to enter into the contest. There will be a photo booth, the parade and ceremony announcing the winner of the contest.
Also, Little in the City is organizing the annual Halloween Trick or Treat March. The details have not been hashed out yet…but we will keep you informed!
Thanks for letting us know. I’ve been looking forward to this every year. Does anyone know anything about a Haunted House at some restaurant. Last year there was one…but nobody seems to be doing anything this year.

I used to organize some of the kid’s events in LIC but I stopped a couple years ago. I feel that parents in this neighborhood only know how to TAKE from others and never give back. their world is surrounded by their children, and all they do is come to the events, eat the free chips and soda…then leave and NEVER help the organizers out. Parents are just too self-centered.
