LIC police need your help…

12 Oct

Walking down 21st street near Murray Park today I noticed a pile of broken glass from a car window. Shortly afterwards I spotted this written plea to all residents of LIC.

If you see something…well, you know what to do.

I hope they catch him and chop off his hands like some of the countries in the middle east would.

    Anon,

That’s awful. Do you also wish we kill women for no obeying their husbands? Or perhaps beat our children for not behaving well in public? What’s wrong with you?

There was a break-in in the building on 5th Street between 46th Rd and 46th Ave on Friday night. Broken windows mainly. Not much to steal in there — it’s where the boathouse and Recycle-a-Bicycle are located — more like vandalism damage.

Unbelievable that people would break in to a building housing non-profits like the boathouse and recycle-a-bicycle…

I’ve seem these punk kid at Murray Park doing damage to the park often. Cops are nowhere to be found…ever. Not worth paying taxes.

@Ann – are you suggesting we should get rid of police and create private security forces?

I’ve seen teens roaming around the neighborhood jumping on cars and walking in the middle of the street disrupting traffic (11th street) late at night. Also the alarms in the warehouses nearby are constantly going off, and not 2 days ago there was a car on bricks with it’s tires stolen! Something I have never seen in my 10 years of living in NYC, a legendary sight. Calling the police elicits a response time that is downright laughable considering the vicinity to the freaking precinct.
