Ah…the days of Long Island City with full view of Manhattan for everyone…
A recent satellite map look at Long Island City with my new iOS6 on my iPhone 5 reveals what Long Island City sorta looked like about 3 years ago. In fact, in the three years I’ve been living 4 blocks from the waterfront most of my views of the Manhattan skyline have fizzled away. However thousands now have the most amazing views of the city with instant access to a state-of-the-art waterfront.
Do you remember what the clear views were like? Or are you an LIC newbie enjoying the skyline?
I remember when it was less nosier. I remember when it was cheaper. i remember when it was better.
I remember when I was able to look out my window and see the awesome skyline. Screw you yuppies!!
