Spice is now open in LIC
5 Sep
Spice is now officially open in Long Island City. Located on the corner of Vernon Blvd. and 48th Ave, they are the newest addition of Pan Asian restaurants to our neighborhood.
My wife and I decided to order in from their menu but both numbers were out of commission. So instead we moved our lazy asses down there and they kindly let us know that “the Verizon guy is on vacation”.
Nevertheless the food was pretty good (Drunken Noodles and Crispy Duck) and the joint was already packed by 6pm!
Just in case the Verizon guy comes back from his vacation by the time you read this, the number is 718 392-7888. Check out the menu here. Or get your lazy asses down there!

Great addition to the neighborhood – you can bemoan chains all you want, but this is far superior to Tuk Tuk. And for once, a restaurant in LIC opens with a liquor license… its about time!
The pic was few weeks old, Please update if you want to Spice up this blog…
Totally good food. better than tuk yuk.
republic…you’re kind of a dick
Who’s the dick? Tuk Tuk is a solid Thai place with really good people running it, so your insult was a cheap shot. There’s no reason LIC can’t support both of these places. Good luck, Spice.
Tuk Tuk is phenomenal! I’m going to continue to patronize them even though Spice is just down the block. I give my loyalty to businesses who value their customers.
Wait..Spice is totally different menu. I think it’s a good thing. It’s always packed and we’re sick of the same ol’ food from Tuk Tuk. WELCOME SPICE! We need you badly!
