In search of the best pizza in LIC

If you want the best pizza in LIC you must answer this question first: Do you live on Center Blvd and have pizza from Food Cellar delivered to your apartment?
If you answered yes, you can stop reading this article because you are obviously too lazy to walk to the best pizza (in my humble opinion) in LIC.
This pizza resides at Junior’s Café on Vernon Blvd and 46th Road. Their pizza is the quintessential New York style pie and it’s delicious and cheap…$15 for a full-size pepperoni pizza ($8 for a smaller “bar pie”). Junior’s is a great, no frills neighborhood joint that has been there seemingly since the dawn of time. Aside from pizza, they have some of the cheapest drinks in town. I’ve also had the wings, meatball sub and root beer schnapps, all great for the value. Stop in or call to pick it up (718-472-9694), trust me, it’s worth it.
And if you happen to be drinking at a certain watering hole down the street and get hungry, you can always pick up a pie from Junior’s and bring back to that certain watering hole.

i have to agree but not only does he have the best pizza around everything on his menu is very good. the workers are friendly and make you feel right at home. if you want a great place to eat go to jrs cafe on vernon blvd
