It’s been pretty dark and stormy these last few days (weeks!)…and photographer Jesse Winter was able to capture this eery shot in LIC.

The clouds didn’t stop the Mister Softee Ice Cream truck from stopping at Murray Park, leaving its noise box on the whole time – about six minutes. This is illegal.

I hear the 103rd Precinct is getting more noise complaints. However, as shown in the above NYT article, the DEP handles noise citations for the ice cream truck.
I can’t stand the Mr Softie truck. They need to be banned. If everyone calls at the same time we can make sure they get ticketed. PLUS this is not even real ice cream! WHo eats this crap?
