Socrates Park hosts new exhibition

John Hatfield, the new executive director at Socrates Sculpture Park, begins prepping the ‘ag-bags’ for an installation by artist Natalie Jeremijenko as part of the upcoming exhibition entitled Civic Action: A Vision For Long Island City curated by Amy-Smith Stewart. Other artists include Mary Miss, Rirkrit Tiravanija, and George Trakas. This will be Mr. Hatfield’s first season at Socrates after serving as deputy director at the New Museum.
